You Can Make a Solid Income


Some people are lead to believe that the internet is a money making machine for anyone who wants it to be. They think that making money online is a way to replace income that they have lost, or to replace their job altogether. The truth of the matter is the while it is possible to make money online, it is incredibly difficult to make enough money to replace the income from a full time job. Writing online is not a reason to quit the job that you hate; it simply adds more to your income. If you want to make money online, simply use it as an income supplement.


It is Easy


People think that writing online is easy, and that making money online is even easier. Making money online can actually be difficult and hard, depending on what type of job you are taking. Any job that is going to pay a decent amount of money is going to require some work. If you go into trying to make money online thinking that it is going to be a walk in the park, you will wind up disillusioned and dissatisfied. Knowing what you are getting into before you start can help you to understand exactly how easy, or hard, the job will actually be.


Jobs are Plentiful


While it is true that there are a lot of writing jobs that exist, people tend to believe that there are an endless amount of jobs available. Jobs are generally in specific areas (such as writing, editing, filling out surveys, and advertising). Anything past those skills will be hard to find. While there are writing jobs out there as a way to make money online, the possibilities are not necessarily endless.


Yes, it is possible to be successful at making money online. Yes, it is possible to make a lot of money online. What people should realize, however, is that it is hard work, and is not always as fruitful as people expect. Going into the market of making money online with realistic expectations can help you to fully understand what you are getting into. The best way to be successful is to know exactly what you are getting into; this is why knowing, and debunking, the myths is important.

I Lost All My Money Online Trying “Making Money Online Businesses”!

Today I want to share with you how to watch out for scams online. I also want to share with you two programs I’ve found online that actually have produced money for me.

When first searching for a work at home or work on the internet business, always check to see if the company has negative feed back. To do this, always Google or either YouTube search the company. An Example of this would be typing the companies name into Google or YouTube and typing either “scam” or “ripoff” behind the name of it.I can guarantee you that you’ll most likely find something about that company be it bad or good.

I personally look for either 10 negative reports from people about that company before I decide it may not be worth trying. Another good rule of thumb would be to try to e-mail the company with questions you may have. If you do not get a response within a week, odds are this isn’t a legitimate company. If a company is telling you that you can make an obscene amount of money just starting out, it’s not worth your time. No company out there can stay true to such an offer. If they can, then the price to buy the product is far beyond your price means. Always look for either a 30-90 day money back guarantee on programs you try.

To make sure a company is legit and reputable, they should always respond to emails within a week and also should have a customer support number to call. Don’t be afraid to call companies to get information. Most companies out there know that people are unwilling to call and ask questions. Don’t be one of those people. Knowledge is definitely power. You need to know that if you are not understanding their program that you can call and get help whenever you need it. You also need to know that if you decide that company isn’t for you, you can always call and request your money back.

If you notice a company has a monthly fee attached to it. These companies you need to make sure of two things. 1. They pass the google and youtube inspection. 2. They have a contact number and you actually spoke with a Representative. Companies with a monthly membership fee are usually legitimate companies, which is why they continuously charge for the knowledge they are teaching you.

In my “making money online” search experiences over the years, I’ve only found two places that has actually produced a steady income for me. Those two sites are listed on my website along with a description detailing them both.

Just Starting Out Trying to Make Money Online? Drop the Lottery Ticket Mentality

Timing isn’t everything when you are trying to make money online.  Of course, it plays a role and if I didn’t acknowledge that fact, I would be misleading you.

The problem lies in the mentality that you can make a lot of money online solely by being in the right place at the right time.  The reality is, success is achieved through consistent daily action.  That means whether you are having a good day or a bad one, you are succeeding or failing, you continue to work on your business every day.

If you run around joining every opportunity you can find, especially the “pre-launches”, chances are the only thing that will happen is you will lose your money. Pre-launches are brand new opportunities that are trying to create a buzz and build a list of people that will join the business just by offering the ability to be one of the first to join.

For the most part, pre-launches are trying to appeal to a basic instinct that if you don’t join now, you will miss out on something great.  Essentially, it is nothing more than a sales tactic. 

To be successful, especially when you are just starting out trying to make money online, you must choose only one or two businesses and focus just on promoting those businesses. You need to almost put on blinders to other opportunities or you will inevitably get sucked in by alluring sales copy that promise the world and instant success.

Realize that sales copy is designed to make you feel like you NEED to join this or buy that or you are missing out.  It is meant to pull at your emotions.

All businesses essentially work the same.  You need to direct traffic to your site, which creates leads and then you need to work those leads and a certain small percentage of your leads will join your business. 

What is my point?  If you aren’t able to make your current business work, then you probably won’t be able to make the new, shiny, flashy biz work either.

The bottom line, the grass will ALWAYS look greener on the other side, but that doesn’t mean that it actually is.

So where does timing come into play?  With hard work, experience, an acquired sense of judgment and failing many times BEFORE you are in the right place at the right time. Over time, you may gain an innate sense about new opportunities, but this only comes with experience and must be learned over time.
